"Happy birthday, ljubov moya. I… am glad you are here, with me. Each year with you feels miraculous in its way. I hope you know how much better my life is with you in it. Even when you are insufferable and play your ‘bops’ entirely too loudly.”

He smirks faintly, then his expression softens entirely.

"Nonetheless… I would not change a thing. Now, come, Sra. Talis and I have prepared something for you at home. Oh, and, eh…” Viktor hands Jayce a plain white box. “This is for you.”
