Meadow is a Seer, Hazel is a clan cat. The two aren't allowed to be together but they love eachother anyway. Apple is Hazel's friend that has a crush on him.
In New Clan cats mates are decided by the leader when they reach apprenticehood. Apple and Hazel are arranged to be mates when they become warriors
