This is Aymara. Her eyes say murder but her tiny cheepcheeps... probably also say murder, actually. She always makes this cute tiny sound when I go to take her out of her mews, and then later when I put her back and give her food, she starts seriously screaming to tell me to stay away from her mice. In this area of Vermont the best hawk watching is during the second and third week of September. The numbers of birds migrating south varies each day based on temperatures, winds, and precipitation. The best are clear days with a slight north wind and temperatures warm enough to create thermals.
