this is basically just me rambling around josie and im really sorry if none of it makes sense i tried xx

she group up in a small town where everyone knew everyone, they all thought the same, and they hated the idea of being different or going out of the norm like everything had to be the same  n nothing could b  different

she grew up in a household where  she  was told what to do, what to think, how to act, etc. growing up she never had the ability to really grow as her own because her family and town were the ones molding her the entire time and she hated that like josie hated how everyone was the same and that she didnt really know who she was like? she just knew how she was SUPPOSED to be not how she really was u know?

once high school graduation came around, josie bounced hella fast from her town and family and decided to travel. her parents hated that bc they said all  she’d ever need was what  the  town was giving her and josie was like lmfao WHAT and  they were like yes! stay! and then when she kept  refusing  they  said if she left the town then thatd b it for her. like theyd support her finanically (which wasnt much bc their family wasnt really rich and the only reason  why they said  they’d support her fiananically was in case  josie ended  up getting  somewhere high  in life and they wanted her money  when josie made it big if she ever did). 

anymemes josie took it and left. she travelled with what she had saved up and probs went to like. canada or something because  lets b real she didnt have much saved up n canada was already pushing it lowkey. bitch isnt rich she cant afford to leave north america. 

during her travels the main point of it all  was to find  herself and find answers that she  needed  to finish the puzzle that is josie  ahn’s true self and she thot it was going to work bc  she heard traveling  alone lets u discover herself and ya that worked but she found out she had magic running through her veins n shes like word so  i wanted a puzzle piece  and got a whole ass different puzzle instead? word ok ok  ok 

so  that happened. after her travels in canada she was more confused  than ever and attended hawkings. she was still confused, still doesnt kno who she  is, now shes a literal witch w powers. cute! 

when she heard about the circle/other witches in hawkings ig she decided to join so maybe it would give her answers she needs bc shes confused n honestly she’ll literally try anything once like. when it came  to possibly killing someone she didnt hesitate she just said ok lets do it!

morally speaking, i dont think josie has much of a compass bc ig she  had  one before in  the town  but honestly  she despises everything they taught her and told her to b so she doesnt  care much about  her compass so i guess shes not really morally  good n leans more morally bad just bc shes like lmfao i dont know who i am ill  do anything  once idc if the devil is the one cheering me on for it. ill b the devil if thats who im supposed to b type of thing u kno? 

shes literature major n is HOE (not only for dicks n vaginas!) for reading and writing n comics!!!!!

she writes everything that goes around her whether its experiences,  conversations she had, or conversations  she over heard like  she just. writes write  writes and writes

she  writes characters  hoping she’ll be able to resonate with her and  make her feel like o wow this character is  ME! u  kno like  shes writing to find herself shes using her characters almost  like test  trials i guess u  could say  

she lives for  comics and superheros bc of the origin  stories that superheros have u kno? they all start off not knowing who they are  and theyre  confused as josie  but along their storyline, they find themselves and thats what josie wants  like she wants 2 be like them n find out who she is. is she the devil? is she a hero? are we dating? are we fucking? are we  best friends? are we something? u know its just all the  questions 

her main point  is finding answers thats all this hoe bitch wants  she wants answers she wants to know y  she has these powers n who shes supposed 2 b someone educate josie on josie pls she begs

when it  comes to magic, she  has a love/hate for it? she likes the advantags and thrills it gives her, but she  hates how it feels like a burden on herself bc its ANOTHER THING she has to understand about herself u feel but she’d never  tell anyone that u kno shes in the circle she  doesnt want them knowing that she lowkey hates her magic

o ya she  loves the devil lettuce just because she likes how honest and free  people are when theyre  high and how good the body feels like its not tense its all relaxed and the  food  is good and the music  is SO FUCKIN GOOD ITS  LIKE UR HAVING UR OWN CONCERT ESPEICALLY WHEN U LAY ON UR BED GOD I WISH I HAD  AN EDIBLE FOR THIS A NUT

but ya she’ll write little things while shes high or tries to rmemeber  how  people are

shes a lowkey follower i guess u can call her bc  she’ll try anything and test it out to see if its her but for the most part she tries to be independant but right now she  cant b  bc shes taking other  peoples ideas n trying to make them her own but its hard bc she grew up sharing other people ideas n keeping  them the  way they are so she finds it hard to change them bc they lowkey end  up being the same as everyone else still

she grew up in new orleans ! secsi ass city w secsi ass people, god she loved the rich culture and how pretty the city of new orleans can be until her parents got a divorce and she decided to live w her mother instead !and her mom decided to marry some rich ass ceo , her new mom is secsi and rich sos he dont mind living in uglie ass maryland ! i mean its nothing like new orleans but u kno its whatever OIGMKDH

she has no vendetta against her parents divorcing but it definitely slowly began to close her off from her sister and her dad, most of her teen years and childhood were left with her hanging around her house alone, it was definitely a change from going to a loud city to somewhere quiet and that affected her persoanlity a lot you can say? but not drastically. it's definitely where she got her need to have quiet time a lot, it's something she's adapted too

one day she was messing around with some pals and that was one day she'd wanted to forget, where her friends and her messing about and ended up burning her neighbors mansion down and her friends ran , fckn fakes but she stood bc she felt so bad but she couldn't move and then when the fed came to ask what happened she only blamed it on the grill, she never spoke about it again and also cut them off for ditching her ,

theres a reacurrence w  her supressing what happens to her, the divorce, the fire, bc she just doesn't wanna dwell on the things that went wrong in her life or she'd be in a miserable ass mood for the rest of her life, honestly she's here to have a good time . live fast DIE YOUNG BAD GIRLS DO IT well !

this binch is kinda fickly, like shes two sides of a coin. she can be someone who's really different at night compared to who she is during the day, she loves doing things that give her a rush of excitement, like this bitch lives for doing shady dumb shit like honestly who wants to be 50 and realize they didn't do anything w their lives. not her!

GOD she loves sunsets, she thinks they're os sexi and it's the softest thing about her like she needs to see every sunset there ever is bc no matter how many she's seen every one is a new one , brings new excitement and brings her hope of another day i think its definitely one of those moments where you see a side of her where she isn't trying to be blunt or snarky, but more of someone of her old self before she began to shut parts of herself off and create this facade of something out of a dream she molded herself u kno ? what a fake

her magic comes from a distant relative like think mmuggle borns from harry potter, they werent born with magic from a magical parent but someone in her family line ! but thts some history on how she got her magic

as for marisol, i believe essie never really thought about her as much as she should have, so it wouldn't have mattered for her that she died and power is secsi, who doesn't like it ? u kno, so she didn't give much thought after it happened it was another memory to supress and move on from ! but shes never had any of her past problems come to haunt her before so now that mari is rising up again it's giving her anxiety over the fact she cannot hide it as much as she tries to !

this is haven. he is the largest dickhead to walk this earth. i’ve been trying to figure out how i wanna play him for like a day or so, and i landed on that. so if you take anything away from the following rambles it should be that he’s an asshole with (mostly) good intentions. but strap urselves in, let’s keep going, bring some snacks for the ride.

i figure he’s an only child, and grew up relatively poor until about the age of 14 where his parents came into some unexpected wealth. so he has felt and seen injustice all around him, which is part of why he chose to get into law. however, there’s a sense of irony to it, his righteousness is often clouded by his double standards. he cheats, but expects loyalty. his wit can turn vile and hurt people, but criticism hits him at his core. he wants to fight for justice ( oh that’s his tarot card, it’s like when they say the movie title in the movie.. good one naj haha x ) but turns a blind eye to crime.

some years later the newfound wealth got to his fathers’ head. he ended up feeling like he was owed more than what he had and would eventually seek it elsewhere than his family. it lead to a painful divorce and haven growing a deep hatred for his father. a hatred he wasn’t even aware he had been capable of. anytime they would get together, bitter words would fill the room. as time passed, words didn’t feel like they cut deep enough. so when his dad entered a new marriage, haven made it his personal mission to destroy it. ( he slept with his step-mom!!!! ihave tried to write this sentence eight times i cannot formulate it it is 4 am rn just get my jist NVPSNODVDS ). he had no intention of telling anyone what he had done. it was enough for haven to know that he had destroyed something near and dear to his father’s heart.

HONESTLY i’ve been thinking about it for hoooooours and i have no idea how haven would have gotten into witchcraft, so my idea is to put it in my plot post that one of your characters got him into it?? i’m thinking he could have been in a slump and looking for a higher purpose?? cnsodcnsdocn i’ll figure out the kinks give me a minute

so present day. dude’s a law major, takes pride in his work and does it diligently. only thing is he somehow still manages to go out most nights and end up in different beds than he woke up in. 

well.. that was mostly negative NVPDSONVDV so let’s just look at some positives yeah? he will stand up for what he feels is right and not back down. if he feels someone is being treated unfairly, nothing can stop him from letting it be known. if someone gets close to him, he will protect them fiercely. that’s when loyalty transcends his personal ethics. you could call it blind loyalty, but haven is well aware of what he’s doing. he’s an observer, reads people quite well. he’s a tough nut to crack, but once you do, there’s a lot of genuineness to him. it will show in moments and flashes.

growing up, lux was rlly naive, timid n obedient bc she came from a religious upbringing n always let her family’s ideologies just kind of define who she was for her instead of deciding that for herself. after her parents divorced when she was like 11, she stayed w her dad in new orleans and although she was born knowing she was capable of magic, she was never rlly allowed to practice it bc of her family but after her mom left her dad.. her dad was heartbroken so it’s not like she had someone that was constantly paying attention to her anymore so she just started practicing secretly (u kno since new orleans is a pretty witchy area already so it wasnt that hard to find some kind of cult to start practicing w haha xx)

she mainly went to private schools all her life until she got to high school so being the naive person she was, she was new to this whole partying culture and the sense of freedom and individuality everyone had intrigued her. the environment was fairly new to her so being the naive person she is she obviously succumbed to it bc she wanted to try new things

she was 16, driving home drunk from a party she had snuck out to, when she hit someone on an empty street. she wasn’t even supposed to be out at this time so she just .. skrt skrt ! dipped ! she felt rlly guilty so she told her dad later that night n instead of him calling 911 like she thought he would he was more worried abt their family’s reputation so her dad helped her hide the body :/ the police found it anyways so uh.. rip

the star card describes someone who’s through a big personal transformation due to the obstacles and challenges they’ve endured, so after that night, everything for her was different. lux started questioning everything she’s ever believed in: her religion, her family, her identity. after all, all she’s ever known was a family that always taught her to do the right thing and take action for their mistakes, and despite that her dad still told her to keep the death a secret and helped her plan a cover up (gotta love her catholic household haha !) plus her own mom left her dad years ago for some rich ceo so after tht sorta thing u just kind of question everything u ever thot u knew

basically, from causing a death to realizing that she didn’t even know her own family, lux went through a really dark period where she just.. stopped caring abt everything bc what was the point in doing the right thing ?? arent morals just a concept ? she was just rlly lost but she eventually got herself together when she was 18-19 and that’s when she started to find herself again

she’s still coping w everything n healing from her old self but she tries her best to inflict solace and tenderness to everyone she knows, mainly bc no one did that for her when she was going through a rough time

so personality wise: lux is just a rlly kind person, she’s a lot less naive than she used to be but she’s still just rlly soft for everyone as long as they treat her w that same respect (bc she’s not a complete pushover she’ll still stand up for herself n say what needs to be said if she needs to). if there’s a chance n she sees it, she’ll try to be there for everyone, she tries to be as optimistic abt things, n she’s just rlly got a golden heart. uh what else she’s also a really curious girl though like she still questions everything a lot like when she was in that dark period, she’ll be talking about how time n math is just a concept that humans created n how everything’s a social construct DKGJGGKD
