Somewhere between a run and a skip, Evelyn made her way to the house marked "Mr. Sanders." She had very important news to tell a certain friend, and between her inescapable toothless grin and bouncing light brown ringlets, it was clear to any possible onlookers that she was ecstatic  As she made it to the door she was looking for, she knocked. "Pooh Bear!" she called.

The door opened and the resident waddled towards the girl, humming happily. "Hallo, Evelyn!"

"Pooh Bear, today at school, my teacher, she told me something! And as soon as she said it I though that it's something my friend Pooh Bear would want to know." she explained, nodding.

Smiling, the bear asked "Hmm? And what might that be?"

"Pooh Bear," Evelyn began, her voice low and serious, though she was still smiling, as though she held the secret to the universe. "Do you know how huney is made?"

"The bees!" Pooh replied with a nod "They're the ones who make it."

"Yes, but did you ever wonder where the bees get it from?" Evelyn asked.

Pooh paused. To be quite honest, he hadn't. After all, he was a bear of very little brains, so he often didn't thin much beyond what was needed. "Do you know where the bees get it from?" he asked Evelyn, now curious.

The little girl smiled, throwing her small arms in the air excitedly "From the flowers!"

"The flowers?" Pooh repeated, clearly not following the young one's train of thought.

Nodding, the girl replied "Yes, the flowers! The yellow stuff in the flowers, that's called pollen, the bees take that, and they turn it into huney!"

"Hmmm...." the bear replied, mulling the thoughts over in his head. "Where do the flowers get it from?"
