Iโm reading Kenโs Wikipedia page, and I saw this...
Iโm Cebuano by ethnicity, and the variety of Bisaya I speak is also Cebuano since I was born and raised in Cebu. And can I just say that I actually hate it when people refer to the Bisaya language as a whole as simply โCebuanoโ instead of just โBisayaโ or โVisayan.โ
Cebuano is only one variety of Bisaya, and it just so happens to be the basis for the standardized form of the Bisaya language. The Bisaya varieties in other regions have their own names and nuances, so boxing all of them under โCebuanoโ just sounds so wrong to me. Itโs like saying you speak American or British instead of just English.
Besides, actual native speakers donโt refer to their language as Cebuano, even us from Cebu. Only linguists ever use the term Cebuano. It sounds so weirdโฆ just say Bisaya
Ouch :'( Johnny's Rizz gone wrong HAHAHA
favorite word?
"Kuan" its An Bicolano/Bisaya language. We used it in "Something we can't REMEMBER a word."
For an Example:
"Dai! Kabalo ka atung "Kuan"?
Means: "Girl! Did you know about that "....".?
She's asking if She know abt that "Kuan"(specific thing she was talking abt).
Honestly I mostly Used it ALL THE TIME And It SUCKS bcuz of > "Lack of Vocabulary","Lack of Critical Thinking" and "Leads to Miscommunication".
Even the crocodiles are angry!
On the left is Lolongโs cousin, a very big saltwater crocodile (๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฅ๐บ๐ญ๐ถ๐ด ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ด๐ถ๐ด). Beside her is the smaller and Critically Endangered Philippine crocodile

Badlit for breakfast!ย
Been practicing Badlit or Suwat Binisaya lately. A cousin to Baybayin, Badlit was used to write in Bisaya languages.ย
Unlike scripts by Hanunรณ'o and Mangyan, Badlit and Baybayin are no longer used. But most Philippine scripts are related to those by our Southeast Asian neighbors - like Khmer (Cambodia), Jawi (Brunei & Malaysia), and Lao (Laos).
