so you and ashton had just gotten back to ur shared apartment in suburban sydney where you moved to, to be with ur best friend all the way from london. you'd been friends with ash since you started university and he offered you to come on tour with him and his band at the beginning of the school year. you decided that in all honesty your education was a 6 and spending months on end with ashton was a solid 11/10. ashton already finishing school 3 years before meant he obviously no longer had interest in his reading, writing or that useless calculus you had to do eVERY TUESDAY MORNING. 

however you were different, you loved to read books. it was one of your passions and you could read a 200 page book in less than 24 hours. ashton knew this, ashton knew that once you get your head in a book it's going to take more than mcdonalds fries and a kitten to get you away from it. 

ok back to the present, you just arrived home and he had something planned for you. ashton loved to spend time with you whether it was in silence or reading together or talking or movies and more. he loved to just hear your voice or just be cudded into you whenever he could. /we all know ashton is super sappy don't fight me/.

ash sat you down on the sofa and looked dead serious. at first you were confused, nervous and worried. "wade" god him saying your name made your tummy do flips and you loved it. you loved the way your name rolled off his tongue in such a loving manner. but rn , his face was straight. 

that was until of course this has happened before, and just as you processed this, his hands flew to your sides, fingers crawling against your skin. "nonono" and laughter was all that could be heard through the house and his fingers tickled your body. by now you were laying on your back on the sofa with his body hovering over yours. ash stopped in his tracks and just smiled lightly. dropping his body to lay beside you, he nuzzles his cold nose into the crook of your neck and turned on "orphan black"

it didn't take long to feel his warm breath through his parted lips and his lips then pressed against your adams apple as he began to fall asleep, "i love you wade" he mumbled before falling asleep right in your arms

"i love you too"
