hey, saying this as gently as I can. if you made a blog with the purpose of documenting black people abusing non-black people, that would obviously be racist. if you made a blog documenting neurodivergent people abusing neurotypical people, that would obviously be ableism. if you say "hey, you know that bigoted stereotype that this group commits this type of violence at a disproportionate rate? I want to document that" then you are going to come off as endorsing that bigoted stereotype as true. please consider why making a blog that documents abusive transfems hurting non-transfems is going to be harmful, and enforce negative ideas about a group that is already demonised so heavily. I know you've said a couple of times now that you started this blog because you are dealing with a lot of trauma. trauma is a shitty thing to deal with and I'm sorry you're going through that. but trauma responses are not always logical, helpful or unable to cause hurt. you should consider that in placing the focus of this blog on the harm transfems cause, as opposed to supporting people, you're not lifting up an unheard voice or taking care of people. what you're implying is that transfems are dangerous and get away with being a threat to others too easily, both of which are word-for-word terf rhetoric and demonstrably not true. take care of yourself, but please don't act like lashing out at transfems is a real way to support anybody, it's just perpetuating and excusing the existing transmisogyny that we already face.

You say you believe that you are at risk for reporting about trans women committing sexual abuse. At risk of what? Being harassed? Or "cancelled"? Or being kicked out of your job or your housing? Because every bit of hate you get, a trans woman of the same notoriety gets 10-fold. Such accusations aimed at trans women are directly in line with the dominant narrative. Trans women are, throughout society, classified as the abusers. Told we are inherently dangerous or monstrous. Stories that confirm that get put on the news, on social media, on anywhere with a platform. Stories that reject that narrative, or even reverse it, are buried. That is why the transfem voices project was started. To reduce that disparity. So you, in asserting that you must counter trans women's attempts to be heard, are directly opposed to equal treatment.

but the fact that you are trying to weaponize your own sexual assault as a "gotcha" to minimize the trauma of other survivors is so deeply sick. you can submit your story to mousidy's transfem voices project when she re-opens submissions then. that is exactly what that project is supposedly for. go share your experience there instead of trying to use a traumatic violation to score points against a survivor blog. 💙
