First day of one-on-one training. Dunno what I'll find in there. The kid who never could quite commit to music because the performance anxiety, the struggle of learning in front of someone else, was just too humiliating? The teenager who one day woke up with a whole lot less fucks, lost (most of) her social anxiety, and forced her way ever more forward? Or the thirtysomething - when did I get this old I still feel like that kid with the cello but I'm also still pretty low on fucks so why *shouldn't* I get to be good at this - woman? Guess we'll find out soon. If I have a black eye tomorrow, I'll make sure to put together a smashing birthday outfit to match.
