so remember from a while ago when I had that ask of Protag!Maki with Mastermind!Kirumi and then the other survivors being Tsumugi, Ryoma and Angie(who kept cheating death)? well I like to imagine that Maki and Kirumi were in love with each other so how would Maki react to Kirumi being the mastermind?
With all the time the two spent together throughout the game, Maki thought she could trust Kirumi. And maybe, just maybe, she felt herself fall in love, despite all the warnings she gave herself.
Trust wasn’t something she could easily come by. And as the mastermind, Kirumi knew what would happen in the end. Either way, one of them would end up dead. It was far from romantic.
But somehow, the two of them were catching feelings, and though they never discussed it, it was obvious to the both of them. It happened, and there was hardly any going back.
When Maki found out Kirumi was the mastermind, her first thought was that she knew she couldn’t trust anyone. Because if she couldn’t trust someone who she loved and loved her, who could she trust?
Which made her angry, sad, a million feelings she didn’t want to feel as she was trying to fight for her life. Kirumi was smarter than she’d ever imagined; Maki wouldn’t make that mistake again.
