"Ok so. They're both child soldiers forced to fight for a country that discriminates against them. They're best friends. They're part of a trio with another character, but that other character has a crush on a girl so mainly Theo+Haru are paired together. Theo likes drawing and Haru poses for him. In the high school slice of life spinoff, They're always seen together and it's noted that Theo makes Haru pose in weird poses for his own amusement, and Haru does it every time. This can presumably be carried to the canon time-line, as seen in the manga, Theo likes making people pose weirdly for him. Anyways. They're always together. Their personalities compliment each other, with Theo being the more closed off and snarky person, and Haruto being the more outgoing and friendly one. I cannot stress this enough they are paired together in the spinoff. As in. Never seen apart. As in introduced together. They're best friends and they make fun of each other all the time."
