Harrowing Night
It was the night everyone was talking, it was the night everyone warn you not to go out, but for one reason or another you need to leave the safeness of your house, besides Harrowing Tales where just there to scare little children around the campfire and do their shores afraid of the Ruin King or one of his henchmen to take you away..... right?
There was a chill in the air, one that caress your skin in the back of your neck, the moon is blocked by the thick fog surrounding the path or at least the little you can see beyond the light of your lamp... there is a noise and then silence, it should be nothing...
But old women tales are there for a reason and fools are those who don't follow thy warning, as creatures of of dread stalk those brave or fool enough to do so and you for the moment are one of those as bright eyes follow your moves, malevolent intent filling the air like a stench you can't escape, every steep feels heavier and heavier your destination nowhere to be seen even tho you swear you should be there already, maybe if you trace back your steps... but is too late, you can feel it right behind you, his heavy breath washing over you the dim shine of long claws and before you could say anything everything ends.
Old fairy tales are told so you won't be part of them but as the white veil of fog dissipate a new campfire story is born of the fool who wandered where them wasn't suppose to do...
