             A stunning performance soon it’s peak to come. Climbing, complimenting the vocalists there chiming along in wistful sorrow. Ah, but it is not quite the endearing attempt of music that has drawn his person to shadow here - no. More lyrical, more meaningful than any song or note or dance here captivating the audience is by far the peculiarity which plays his instrument most aptly of all. How strange... even with distance parting them, Ayperos still could practically taste the air surrounding him. 

            It may well be worth his stay remaining after all. Until curtain call, and one may go to him more properly than just admiring from afar. 

             Johnny’s not exactly sure when these little rendezvous stopped being quite so much about the art of music for him, and very much moreso about just how interesting he found his teacher to be; beyond the shallow indulgences of appearances, beyond anything shallow at all. His company is liked, his conversation is charming, and Johnny--seduced by cigarette smoke, dreamy eyed and full of smiles, finds himself only to relish in it all.

             It’s not unlike him anymore to simply appear out of the blue; whenever the urge occurs to him, whenever the need arises. The simple desire of company beyond what can be found in his library’s silent grandeur is often the culprit behind Carvel’s soundless and sudden visits. Distant matters not, never has, never will, no matter the journeys that take the musician to and fro. Today, Carvel sits on the stage’s edge, arms folded, back turned to the world of music behind; looking a lot like he’s been there all along, even if he’s only been there for moments. His chin lifts only when he knows who he came to see is here, wine-like eyes focused and bright in the theatre’s bathing light when he turns to assess the musician from where he sits.
