okayokay. i think you're one of the coolest moots i have. like OH MY GOODNESS! you study ancient cultures AND are devoted to the gods? I've never actually interacted with a helpol before and i think that's AWESOME!!! i'd love to learn more about how you worship :D

also you're always so SO nice to me! and i can't believe you trust me with creative liberties for the haremclave 😭 like it's a small act but it means the absolute world to me that you believe i can make something that'll be satisfactory

I managed to take a gander at your post about hitting people up if they play instruments. Well, well, well (rubbing my sweaty palms) you are in LUCK.

I've had experience with a total of 4 instruments in my life: (chronologically) violin, piano, guitar, and cello. Piano and cello are the ones I'm actually taking classes to learn—I'm quitting piano soon, though, as I'd rather keep it as a hobby, while cello is something I don't know where it's going to go. Guitar is purely a hobby, and violin was a thing of the past.

I suffer through all of these in every and any way. I am more of a visual arts person, so music is slightly out of my comfort zone, but it is an art nonetheless. And, I'd like to say as a visual artist, I have no idea what to do with my musical skills in the future.

Dearest Basil Hallward Bram A. B. Alamania,

I envy greatly your breadth of knowledge concerning instruments! Guitar and cello sound really enjoyable to play; I wouldn't mind learning guitar at some point in my life. (Though string instruments always scare me in their complexity.)

I also can sympathise with your struggle through the auditory arts - I am also, primarily, a visual artist and I find it very difficult to use the piano as a 'paintbrush and palette' rather than a 'paint-by-numbers' project, if that analogy is legible. (In other words, improvisation and composition is a nightmare for me.)

Musical skills, too, play no obvious part in my future (twin!) but I'm sure there'll be a run down piano somewhere in a pub where my musical ability will lead me to a new friend.
