Part 1: So you make this claim sometimes that I find interesting. It’s that, because the public at large reacts with horror to crimes committed against women, it means that society at large does not agree with his views, and therefore could not be the originating factor for said views. That’s reasonable enough, but I disagree. People don’t need to applaud a rapist in order for there to be significant (but not TOTAL) overlap between the views he holds and the views his society holds.
