The boy seems to follow him like a moth to a flame, flitting closer and closer until Jack is sure one of them is going to get burned. And looking at Grigg now, the boy gazing at him with a beaming smile on his lips and a slight coy glint in his eye, Jack has a feeling that the one to be burnt is most likely going to be him.

This has been in my wips for almost two years! (and I started the notes document in Septemeber 2023, what the fuck?!) But I am finally getting back into a groove of writing more and with the motivation of this being a (belated) birthday gift for my dearest friend, Nunar, I was able to finish it!

Nunar helped me brainstorm this fic and inspired so much of it, I am so happy I was finally able to put it all into words.
