This is the Summer Station ID of GMA in 2015. The Summer Station ID was themed âKulayan Natinâ Ang Summerâ.
The Summer Station ID theme song is a dubstep and is written, produced and composed by Koji Kondo and performed by the EDM duo Jack Ă. Although, The Summer Station ID theme song is instrumental. But the origin of the Summer Station ID theme song was used in the trailer of the 2015 video game Forza Motorsport 6, Although, It was revealed that Forza Motorsport 6 was developed by Eutechnyx and Codemasters and published by Sega and Activision. Eventually, Forza Motorsport 6 is available for the XBOX 1, PS4, Wii U, 3DS, PSVITA and PC. As revealed, Forza Motorsport 6 is the final video game of the Forza franchise released for the Wii U.
The 2015 Summer Station ID of GMA was launched in June 1, 2015 at 5:00am similar to the 2015 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is âHappy Ka Dito This Summer!â.
The Summer Station ID contains some GMA stars doing some breakdance moves like James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Victor Silayan, Julia Montes, Mikael Daez, Adrian Alandy, Marco Gumabao, John Manalo, Wendell Ramos, Joross Gamboa, Kit Thompson, John Lapus, Pooh, Nonong Ballinan, Pokwang and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Luckily, Former TV5 stars Gerald Anderson and Jessie Mendiola appeared as well. Somehow, The Summer Station ID includes cameos like Frozen director Steven Spielberg, Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and actors like Freddy Highmore, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, Eddy Murphy and Steven Seagal. But the Summer Station ID also features Blue the Puppy, who is âThe Mascot of TV5 and the character of Disneyâs Blues Cluesâ before the bass drops. Eventually, That became a meme when Blue the Puppy starts the music, Blue says âDrop the Bassâ. But this was only used during the first sign on of TV5 which was in May 5, 2005 when TV5 had its first sign on during the âShake Mo TV Mo!â era.
The Summer Station ID also included American pianist Billy Joel who is seen playing the piano at the end.
However, James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Victor Silayan, Julia Montes, Mikael Daez, Adrian Alandy, Marco Gumabao, John Manalo, Wendell Ramos, Joross Gamboa and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith were former TV5 stars from 2005 until 2010. Although, Jessie Mendiola also made an unexpected return after breaking up with her boyfriend Rocco Nacino. Eventually, It was revealed that Jessie Mendiola is a former GMA star from 2000 until 2010. But a new GMA star Gerald Anderson was seen after forcing to leave TV5 and breaking up with Kim Chiu in 2015. Although, GMA star Kit Thompson was seen as he started his career on GMA in 2013 during Mr. Pogi 2013 on Eat⊠Bulaga! Somehow, The 2015 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is âHappy Ka Dito This Summer!â didnât have any TV5 crew members having fun in the sun. Instead, The Summer Station ID features some Hot Wheels cars and explosions to make a summer a blast.
Although, Will Smith was seen as he already left GMA in 2014 as he moved to TV5 during Summer 2014 where he lip-syncing to the theme song of the 2014 Summer Station ID of TV5. Luckily, The 2014 Summer Station ID of TV5 is themed âPinoy Summer, Da Best Foreverâ.
Before the 2015 Summer Station ID of GMA was launched, It was revealed that President and CEO of GMA Felipe L. Gozon knew that the 2015 Summer Station ID of GMA would contain some GMA stars breakdancing to dubstep music. According to Chairman of GMA Gilberto Duavit Sr., It was revealed that international actors Freddy Highmore, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, Eddy Murphy and Steven Seagal were seen in the opening only before the GMA stars breakdance to dubstep music. Although, Chairman of GMA, Gilbert Duavit Sr. knew that the EDM duo Jack à consists of Dutch DJ and Music Producer Tiësto and American DJ, Songwriter and Music Producer Skrillex.
This is also the only Summer Station ID of GMA that is instrumental.
