Process
First of all I did a lot of investigation again. I had to know which buildings take the role of an emblem for each city. So I tried to figure out which architectural construction are well known in London, Paris, Dubai and Singapore. Then I started with the real work. It took me several days to complete my first draft for the skyline of each city. Then I used my strategy of emotional distance. So I stopped working at my project for three days. I wanted to see my work with the eyes of a foreign spectator. But this time it didn’t help as much as on my first project. I lost the connection to my project. For this reason I decided to work everyday for some hours on it.
I decided to use the font „Avenir“ for all Citynames.
Furthermore I placed a “Headline-Picture” to the row. I wrote in the language of the city the words “Happy New Year”.
