Hey guys! So I'm back from the convention in Manchester, NH, "Queen City Kamikaze" and it's time to post the pics and talk about the experience.

This was my very first convention. It was a great way to transition into the "fandom lifestyle" for me cause most of my social interaction is blogging on here. I was going to wear my Loki cosplay but the helmet was messed up and I honestly didn't expect a ton of cosplayers. Boy, was I wrong. I was astounded to see at least 90% of attendees in some sort of getup. The Homestuck fandom dominated. This was anime mostly, so I didn't recognize a lot of the various costumes but I could tell they were well done! This was the first time being around other people who share any sort of interests with me, and so I had a great time. It was like Tumblr in real life. Hell, it was, because everyone I talked to gave me their url. There were a fair amount of booths, but NO SUPERNATURAL MERCH :( They had life-size Doctor Who cardboard cutouts though which rocked. I ended up buying only two pins, a Dalek and Loki. The dance floor they had set up was so awesome, people were going psycho XD PS- My friend Angie started the conga line, I AM SORRY THAT WE ALL TRIPPED ON THAT TARP. I got accidentally punched in the face when the dude behind me fell, no biggie. Just numb for ten minutes, that's all. The anime dating game OMFG CASTIEL YOU ARE THE BEST (i will get to you later, you amazing person). Overall, it was a great experience, made me want to go to a lot more cons in the future. All of my friends are going to Anime Boston, I can't, but I know they'll have a great time!
