7. what was your life like last year?Â
Um… I worked on myself a lot, and I learned to say no. Fucking finally haha.
Up until now, I was a person with my thumb in every single pie, know what I mean? I was AJET president, in charge of English camps, the representative for my region, going to every welcome party and every single get-together so I wouldn’t feel like any time was wasted. I defined myself based on what I could do for others, but I wanted a clean break for whoever replaced me to come in and make Aomori theirs.
And so this year I stepped back. I started to cultivate and nurture the friendships where people went out of their way to text me, and tried to do the same for them. I stopped relying on external motivators (like people saying thank you for a party I created) in order to feel confident. I felt lonely, but then the loneliness gave way to clarity. I know myself better, and I know who belongs in my life more fully and explicitly thanks to saying no to literally everything except my school events.
Longwinded answer for that one. I’m sorry haha.
25. role model I’d have to say Travis McElroy. I aspire to his level of insidious joke-telling in the background, as well as his compassion for others! If only I could have as pretty a beard haha

I haven't been doing VA stuff as much as I'd like because I've been working towards my PT certification and trying to study for my exam aaaaand I'm starting a new job soon that I'm super stoked for! ANYWAY, I don't officially start until the 24th and so this week aside from studying and training I'm more or less free to record a bit! I'm thinking some Zero Escape characters (Akane, Phi, Diana, Clover) and some Persona 5 characters (Ann, Haru, Futaba) Anyone have any preference from the characters I'm leaning towards potentially reading for? I'm thinking I'll take a vote or something and read for the two with the most votes (one ZE character and one P5 character) Lemme know in the replies please! :3
