My boyfriend got me flowers for Valentines Day and they're so pretty 🥰 he also got me chocolate and a stuffed dog but I think the flowers are my favorite.
Hoping I find a way to have more motivation to get all my assignments done this week unlike last week. It was such a struggle to find the energy to do things. Supposed to get 5-10 inches of snow where I live tonight so guess that's good enough reason to stay in and start on this week's to-do list.

I'm already halfway through the semester and it seems like the first 7 weeks flew by and there is still 7 weeks to go. Crazy. Applying for a scholarship and research fellowship this week and I am really hoping I get it. Midterms are for the most part over but I still feel stressed about them. Hope everyone is doing well.
a little bit of happiness: day five hundred and twenty-nine
Today has been a really good day. I studied during my entire 3 hour break for my Shakespeare exam and I think I did really well on it. I've been worried about it for days but I think I did well and it wasn't as tricky as I thought it would be. I've worked really hard today and I was in my zone. And it's gorgeous outside today and everyone on my campus is outside and sitting on the grass and it's wonderful. This is the middle of midterms but everything is warm and sunny and it's pretty perfect. This is why I love Oregon. People never squander a sunny day. It's this weird moment of "this is what I imagined college would be like". My campus feels like a community today.
