The Amazing "Soap Lady Oregon"
Here's a treat for you soap lovers out there!
I don't know about you, but I LOATHE when soaps leave a sticky or waxy residue on my skin after bathing... It defeats the purpose of taking a bath in the first place!
Are you tired of this too? If you answered "Yes"... Look no further.
Introducing...Soap Lady Oregon's "Rosemary Shampoo" and "Sweet Vanilla Soap"
Remember the taste of creamsicles? This soap is not to eat, but you will be tempted.... Real vanilla bean seeds and pods combined with vanilla fragrance oil and sweet essential oil make this an unforgettable soap. Evening primrose oil and apricot kernel oil are added to the recipe for extra creamy lather, moisturizing, and a healthy dose of vitamins and essential fatty acids for your skin.
Ingredients: Evening primrose oil, apricot kernel
oil, sweet orange essential oil and vanilla
fragrance oil.
Here's the deal... It's heavenly. This is one of those soaps that you can press up to your nose and smell all day. It literally smells like the wind passing through a dense orchard mixed with fresh vanilla beans. Yeah. It's THAT good.
I'm the type of person who likes to cut up their soap to preserve as much soap as I can. On many soaps, it doesn't work too well as they'll just fall apart right when I put them under running water.
This soap? Well it stood up to the test. It's rich, creamy and I had to hold back from putting in my mouth because it looked so rich! (Probably best I don't) It stayed together with only half an inch width. Now That's how i like my soap.
Okay, Here's the ONE thing that's most sought after in my book...you know, the one that won at least a dozen Nobel Prizes?...In my imagination? The sud-factor.
Did it have it? Drum roll please.... Yes. It was actually an incredible lather that seemed to be unending.
The longer I kept the suds on my hands, the more moisturized they felt when they were dry. Who needs lotion when you have a good soap.
Overall. AMAZING! Please go buy a bar!
Contains rosemary, peppermint, spearmint, clary sage, ginger, and sweet fennel essential oils. Some folks with naturally curly hair say that castor and shea oils are not good for their hair. We were asked to make a shampoo without these ingredients, so here it is! Folks with normal hair can use it too! Also contains marshmallow root powder which helps coat and moisturize hair follicles for extra body to the hair. Rosemary is thought to promote hair growth. Meadowfoam seed oil is also used in this shampoo for extra shine and conditioning. This shampoo also contains liquid silk for extra shine, a protective barrier, and an extra silky feel to the shampoo.
I'm SO glad someone asked for a soap without castor oil because when I use it on my hair, I feel like someone poured sticky sap all over my scalp, forcing me to re-wash my hair.. pretty much absurd. So, the review!
This is a little different from what most people consider shampoo. This is literally a bar soap designed for hair. It lacks sulfates and unpronounceable chemicals. In short, it acts as a two-in-one for hair, both a shampoo and conditioner... oh, and it's flyable as a carry-on without liquid restrictions. Win-Win if you ask me!
Here's the deal with this one. It's a little waxy for my taste. When I put it in my hair, it lathered quite nicely, but it felt as if I had waxed my hair down when I got out of the shower (which is a feeling that I personally don't like.) My co-editor, Shell also had the same experience with the soap stating that it made her hair feel "dreaded".
Mind you that we both have very processed hair, so I can't really say what it would do on non-dyed hair.
Although it wasn't my taste for shampoo, it worked EXCELLENT as a shaving soap. I mean EXCELLENT!. It lathers, moisturizes and makes shaving easy peasy for you and measy.
This scent it clean, bright, minty, like standing out in a forest full of fresh herbs. It's pretty damn good. The scent sticks to your hair all day, providing a hint of fragrance whenever the breeze hit it. It's quite a sophisticated smelling product.
Like the last soap, this shampoo bar has incredible richness, making it possible to cut the soap into tiny bits and still have it stay together in your hands. However, I don't recommend it for this type of soap, as it's designed in a way that if you use the whole bar, it distributes enough lather.
Onto lather! it's really easy to get this soap up and running. even if your hands are slightly wet when you pick up the bar, it'll start bubbling into rich suds immediately. Since the lathering qualities are so good, you can double it as a body soap, along with shampoo.
Although it may not make your hair feel moisturized right away, when it's dry, it's shiny and luscious. Your hair truly looks like a million bucks!
I Highly recommend buying soaps from this company, they truly know what they're doing, and are very good at it.
Price wise, their products range from $3-$6
Shipping is standard, about 3-6$ based on your location.
