This meant that he had to make a good first impression. His teammates were...interesting to say the least, but as long as he could do what he needed to do and they could do what they needed to do, then it would all work out. At least, that was Ralph’s mindset going into the tent building competition. He was in the process of hammering some stakes into the ground when he saw a movement out of the corner of his eye. Looking back, he saw someone--though he couldn’t tell teammate or otherwise--making off with his toolbox. “HEY!” Ralph yelled, scrambling to his feet. “Give that back yah little thief!”

But then she saw it. Written plain as day, right under her own name...

This was exactly like that one scene in High School Musical, except the call back sheet was a list of each person in her tent, and Tina was Sharpay Evans. Her face turned red as a bell pepper. And then, she screeched, the crowd collectively flinching as it rang in their ears.

“WENDY?!”

This is not what Gwen paid for. She had a grand vision of renting out a cabin for herself, Javi, Stephen, and Lilo to give Nani her much deserved break, while building relationships with the two wayward teens that would help correct their unruly behavior and bring them all closer as a family housemates.

Instead, Lilo wasn’t even in their cabin and they were sharing it with a bunch of strangers. Clearly, whoever set up this whole event wasn’t doing their job correctly and she would have some stern words for the feedback survey. In the meantime, with no choice but to accept things how they were, she could at least make the most of it.

“AHEM! Excuse me, can I have your attention please?” She called out to everyone in the cabin who was getting settled. “As we’ll all be living together for the next week, I think it’s important for us to set up some ground rules.” She held up a list that she’d started working on the moment they got here. “First of all, let’s please be respectful of everyone’s things. Ask before you touch something and communicate when you need to borrow something. Next, please do not bring anyone into the cabin. These are tight spaces and there are plenty of places on the campgrounds to meet. Third, 10pm and afterwards is quiet time, as we all need our rest for the coming events. Shower time should be limited to 15 minutes so that there’s enough hot water to go around. In general, please be courteous about the communal bathroom, keeping it dry and clean for everyone else’s sakes. Lastly, communication is key! Any problems we have we should just talk out with one another and if the other party isn’t there, I’ve brought post it notes for people to air out their grievances as needed.”

With that, she placed her hands on her hips. “So! Do we have any questions or suggestions for other rules?”

They had already come in with plans of terror and fun, but the oncoming thunderstorm was the perfect moment that they needed to strike. While they all had their own ideas of what to do, Barrel had been placed with the most cumbersome job in the suffocating, pouring heat--donning a heavy costume and mask to pretend to be a serial killer. Jason Vorhees was the obvious choice for a camp caper, and soon that hollow-eyed mask would be appearing in the windows of every cabin where unsuspecting campers huddled.

In the dead of night, in the pouring rain, his silhouette was not immediately obvious to anyone whose eyes wandered outside. But with a flash of lightning, his horrifying visage lit up for only a moment before disappearing into inky darkness.

To help keep him busy, he’d signed up for quite a few activities, and also volunteered his services as a lifeguard for the upcoming week. Since not many people were keen to swim first thing in the morning, Toulouse decided to test out the water himself, going for a brief dip. “The water’s not that bad, trust me,” he chuckled, looking over to the person who’d been standing on the sidelines.

“Okay everyone! So, todays activities are located on the board of the craft services tent. Anyone who is interested in the nature expedition or scavenger hunt, please follow me!”

Tina wasn’t exactly thrilled about her tent mates (well, one of her tent mates) but she was no in the process of convincing herself that, regardless of that absolutely dire circumstances, her team was going to win. She was busying herself with tying up a make-shift fence for her camp ground, which she had no dubbed ‘Fort Banishment’ without consulting anyone else in the group. She was running low on things to tie other things together with though, and picked a victim from another team to target. (Resourcefulness, or whatever.)

“Hey! You, person!” She looked like Toulouse, her teammate, so she could use that to her advantage or something. “Do you have, like, a ribbon or a hair tie or something?”
