"Oh no, sweetheart," Tyler said softly, rushing to your side. He placed a gentle hand on your forehead. "You're burning up!”

"I think I caught something," you admitted, you croak, your voice hoarse.

Tyler's expression softened even more, his heart melting at the sight of you looking so vulnerable. "I'm so sorry.. Let me take care of you."

And take care of you he did. Tyler sprang into action, fetching a thermometer to check your temperature and gathering all the essentials—medication, tissues, a fluffy blanket, and a tray of comforting snacks.

"Here, love," Tyler said gently, handing you a glass of water and your medicine. He fluffed the pillows behind you and tucked the blankets snugly around you.

You sighed gratefully, feeling incredibly lucky to have Tyler by your side. Throughout the day, he pampered you like never before. He prepared your favorite homemade soup, made sure you stayed hydrated, and even read to you from your favorite book to keep your spirits up.

As evening approached and you started to feel a bit better thanks to his loving care, you looked up at him with tired but adoring eyes.

"Tyler?" you murmured softly.

"Yeah, babe?" Tyler replied, sitting down on the edge of the bed where you were resting.

"Can you... draw me a bath?" you asked, your voice filled with longing. "I think it would help soothe my muscles."

"Of course!" Tyler replied immediately, He filled the bathtub with warm water, adding a few drops of your favorite bath oil for extra relaxation. He helped you out of bed, guiding you gently to the bathroom.

You settled into the warm water with a contented sigh, feeling the tension begin to melt away. Tyler sat beside the tub, keeping you company as you soaked. He talked softly about anything and everything, making you smile and forget about your illness for a while.

After a while, when you started to feel a bit sleepy from the warmth and Tyler's soothing presence, he helped you out of the bath. He wrapped you in a fluffy towel, drying you off with gentle care. Then he helped you into comfortable pajamas, taking his time to make sure you were warm and cozy.

Back in bed, you snuggled against Tyler's chest once more, feeling his steady heartbeat and the warmth of his embrace.

"Thank you for everything," you whispered, your voice barely audible.

Tyler kissed the top of your head softly. "Anything for you, y/n. I'll always take care of you."
