Airplanes. They seemed unnaturally fast, and he hadn't been as anxious as he would have thought. But then again, what he was most anxious about usually was not having an escape exit easily enough, even though he knew if he had to, he could always steal a car. Not if Hannah was with him, but... just if he needed to it. It also felt expensive, but then again, maybe to gas prices and stopping at motels it was about the same. After they got off the plane, he led her through to where they had a car rental place, which he'd already arranged for, and he loaded her things into the drunk of the hybrid vehicle, something generic that he thought would be comfortable and get them where they needed to go. Didn't need to be too fancy here.
"Shall we just start for the hotel? Or do you want to stop somewhere else first?" He looked at her as he slid into the driver's seat, buckling up and glancing to see if she had, slowly smiling at her. He was really in California with her, even after all the trouble.

Maybe he wasn't as drunk anymore as he'd like to say he was for thinking of going to find Hannah, but he couldn't stop thinking about it, even though getting drunk had been to try and keep himself away in the first place. To numb out the self destructive desire to go see her. That was what it was. It was selfish of him because this was honestly worse for her than it was for him. He had nothing to lose and if Hayley was serious, it sounded like Hannah had everything, so if he had been less buzzed on vodka he would hate himself for hopping on his bike this late. Grace was probably passed out in his apartment but he couldn't go to sleep, he'd been unable to since the fight broke out last night and the vodka just made him woozy and loose, not so much tired. He kick started his motorcycle and drove until he arrived, getting off and hurrying up to her place, knocking a few times, touching up his hair.
