Who is he?

he’s a Primal, which is humanity’s kissing cousin of a species that also came from Earth. they’re like neanderthals only Tall and Fast and Smart and yes, some humans get a little touchy about it
there aren’t as many Primals as there are humans
so at least humanity’s got that going for them
ANYWAY Bale is the smart one

enough of a genius that Unsavory Individuals latched onto him when he was a wee war-displaced orphans and manipulated him into becoming one of the quadrant’s premier weapons designers
until he figured out what his machines were being used for
then he did this:

When I was writing him, I confess that his ‘voice’ was always about half and half Tenth Doctor and Lucifer. He’s incessantly poking into things, trying to figure out how they work, and he is blissfully fascinated by puzzles and things he can’t figure out.
Luckily for him, he meets a girl with a big damn puzzle riding around in her brain...
Angel Rising is my first published novel, a sci-fi poly romance chock full of adventure, banter, found family and hope! I’m putting these little intros up because it makes me happy, to be honest. Bale’s the last of the guys to get his time on the stage, but I do have two characters left to introduce -- Odysseus and Angelica, the last members of the crew.
