But what if when aliens take a WHOLE car it is full with this amazing hand-dancers.
What do they would think when humans can give the ilusion of being bigger, with more hands, with coordination with a group.
What if aliens think this is a fight tactic?
What if they are so confused to ask?

I'm going to double back to Black History Month for a post. I tried looking up a comprehensive list of swing dances on the internet, and I was disappointed not to find one. African American partner dance didn't end with Lindy Hop. In Washington and Baltimore, we have Hand Dance. Many people may have heard of Chicago Steppin. There's Houston Two Step DFW Swing Out (Dallas/Fort Worth), the Philly Bop, and many more I'm sure I'm missing. Hence the reason for my initial search. I hope people expand their notions of the history and legacy of Lindy Hop and keep in mind that it has a place in the broader narrative of African American culture and history rather than just a random trend that spontaneously occurred in the 1930s and 40s. #dchanddance #handdance #swing #chicagosteppin #swingout #phillybop #gh4 #gh4photography #lumixmasters #dancephotography #dancephotographer #dance #portraitphotographer #dcportraitphotographer #dancedc #dcdance #dc #dctography #exposeddc #igdc #streetdancerproject Dance Of, By and For the People A J.S.Almonte Production http://jsalmonteproductions.com/ https://instagram.com/j_s_almonte/ http://streetdancerproject.tumblr.com/ https://www.facebook.com/JSAlmonteWandering

In many parts of the US, swing dancing never stopped after the Swing Era. Even in NYC, Lindy Hop continued to be danced, but in other parts of the country, it grew alongside the people and communities that danced it. There's Chicago Steppin, Dallas Swingout, Philly Bop, and ad a host of others. In DC and Baltimore it's called DC Hand Dance. All these places still have thriving communities, and I encourage people in the US to seek them out and try to learn from them. There's a disturbing trend in Lindy Hop to limit the history of the dance to Harlem and Southern California, and say that there's just Lindy, West Coast Swing, Balboa, Shag and maybe East Coast Swing these days, but there's a rich tapestry of dance and culture out there that's still very vibrant and alive today.
