I don’t even know what to say about this one, just-

well, you might remember this scene and how we couldn’t know exactly what happened even from Damen’s point of view, and seeing it from Halvik’s point of view is rather interesting… we get to see Laurent. we get to see Damen and how Laurent looks at him.

During my semester, I’ve been working on a faux visual development pack for a book for one of my classes. I’ve decided to be self indulgent and choose Captive Prince, and so far even though this was hard, it’s been hella fun. 

“You fight well. It’s a shame you do not have the size to breed great warriors. But you are not malformed. Your woman may not be displeased.’ Then, in the spirit of benevolence, ‘Your face is well balanced.’ She slapped him encouragingly on the back, ‘You have very long eyelashes. Like a cow.”
