It all happened so fast… One moment the potion was exploding at the demon’s feet, the next minute a darklighter had shown up out of nowhere and she froze. The arrow flew in slow motion towards Mel’s chest and she wasn’t fast enough to burn it, though the darklighter was now mere ashes across the room.

“Mel? No, no, Mel, it’s-it’s going to be fine,” Prue held back the tears and the guilt and the countless emotions that were running through her right now. Getting closer to her cousin she shook her head. “I’m not leaving you. I can-I can get us out of here. I could–what if switch powers? You remember that stupid spell? We could do that, and I could heal you, please.”

Mel felt her vision swimming as the acid poison continued to sweep through her body burning her from the inside out. She wondered vaguely if this is how demons felt when they were vanquished. Was this what it felt like to burned alive? PJ was talking above her and she forced herself to focus on her cousin, to not slip away while she was still in danger.

Elena was on her way home after a long day in the infirmary. It had been a longer than normal shift, but she was surprisingly still upright. She had no immediate plans for the evening so she just meander in the city and window shopped. On her route home, she stopped at her local bookstore. She was always in the market for a new or interesting book. Looking through the stacks for something interesting, She stumbled upon some old muggle fairytales and smiled lightly as she remembered them from her childhood. She was thumbing through the pages, when her phone began to ring. Ellie dug in her purse to find it and nearly missed it, but caught the call. Smiling, seeing on the caller id that it was PJ. 

He walked in the room, and gently nudged her shoulder before giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Prue, I made pancakes, and there's blue berries and raspberries downstairs." He spoke to her gently.
