“You know, I feel really awkward walking around with a bunch of stakes under my jacket. … Yesterday, one fell out and I had to explain to a room full of nurses that I was whittling. That I’d taken up whittling.”

"I am sure. I- I’m late and hungry and moodier than usual and throwing up in the morning and dizzy and nose bleeds… a little witch is on her way", she mouthed out, unsure if she was meant to be happy, excited and terrified all at once. But so was he and there was this incredible sadness in him, in his eyes and his words… as if he knew this wouldn’t work, "The full moon is in two weeks, isn’t it? I’m not her Joss, I’m a cupid witch, it’s not gonna be the same love", she whispered looking up at him as her hand brushed his cheek. 

Josh nodded, only wanting to hold her closer. A kid was something he wanted, but he feared it wasn't even possible. He offered her a small smile as she spoke of a little witch, but fear was still in the pit of his stomach. He looked down at her with furrowed eyebrows as she asked about the full moon, and then the same sadness filled his eyes when she talked about the past. "I know you're not her. You're better, and brighter, and you don't deserve to go through what she went through. Not that anyone deserves it.." He trailed off, not wanting to get into all of the details as to why he felt even more guilt about his ex and what he had made her become. "I just couldn't face myself if the same happens to you." He told her, looking her in the eye. "I hope it's enough. I hope having witches in the equation is enough to make it different this time." He spoke his thoughts aloud, still holding her tight in his arms.

"It’s not sexual, nor angry, it’s just something’s going on."

Pulling only enough to see him, she pursed her lips together and looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows, “I think I am. But maybe my powers are expanding… it’s happened but it’s quite odd and everything else… the sickness and being dizzy and passing out… What are we gonna do?” she mouthed quietly taking a little breath. “Plus I wondered how the elders would take it… they’re not precisely open about couples… I just… I need crackers”

He brought her back into him, he could tell she was in a panic, even though she was trying to hide it, which was something she did often, as if he wouldn't still love her if she didn't constantly keep her composure. "What we are going to do, is find out if you are for sure, and if you are, we will take it from there." He started. "And no matter what happened, I am going to love you." He finished. He furrowed his eyebrows. "That's something I wouldn't know much about. I'm sure we have some in the house." He offered.
