Introduction into story:
After a gap year that didn’t do much to help her find herself, Sam is ready to start her freshman year at Venefica University. She expected to study visual arts, and maybe find someway to either live as an artist or find a paying job, but everything is turned upside down when it is revealed that her school has a huge secret. It’s a school for both humans and witches, and she’s a witch! Sam meets new people, humans like Al and Maya, and witches like Seraphina, Henry, and her crush, Foxglove, and she’s ready to figure out this new road in life. But yet again, her world is changed, and her status as a witch may not be as clear as she was told. Suddenly, she has to keep a secret about herself from almost everyone she knows, while finding a new relationship with the potions TA, Hestia Thornheart.
