some stuff abt their dynamic, both of them grew up not connected to any of their family, dina had 'too much family', all but 1 were basically unavalible and she never had that kind of, older guidance? does that make sense? helen was the opposite he was an only child and both parents were emotionally unavaliable. dina originally stuck to helen because he seemed to be the only person who didnt immediatly belittle her or infantalise her, truth be told he didnt even notice her nor did he really care but she began giving him stuff for his art, flowers, pieces of paper she found, little somewhat demonic drawings she drew and he just kept them and she just kind of latched onto him because he didnt immediately yell at her for it.
