When Dick brings Haley to the Manor for the first time, it's to ask Bruce whether he minded watching her because he's away for the weekend and... Bruce just melts because who is this little thing? With the biggest blue eyes? The wettest little nose and the smallest paws? Bruce is, of course, watching her. Damian is away, Alfred is on leave, just him and Haley on their own for the two days. Then Dick has to call to extend his trip by another day and he thinks Bruce will give him the whole "a pet is a responsibility" lecture. But no, Bruce is totally fine with it. He thinks Bruce looks a little deflated when he collects Haley the following day. He tells Bruce that he will bring Haley again since she can run around the Manor's grounds and she gets on with Ace and Titus. Bruce absolutely spoils Haley, with treats, premium wet food, feeding her off his own plate, letting her sit on his lap, chew on his shoes and any messes she makes in the Manor? Clearly not her because she's the "goodest girl". Proud Grandpa Bruce who gets her a little onesie and her very own Bat collar.
