The hot air rises

once the pressure sets in.

Alright ladies, germs, and gender flexies I've got a new challenge for you.  Sometime this week, spend 5 minutes creating as many haikus as you can. 

I want them fast, stream of consciousness, and quality. Set an egg timer. Go to google. Use your phone. Pocket watch. I don't care how, but this is a mad dash. Five minutes. That's it. This isn't Shakespeare. This is boot camp.

Now for those of you wanting to do a haiku, but have been living under a rock, let me break down the logistics. First an example:

 Hai-ku's aren't that hard,  but some-times they don't make sense.  Re-frig-er-a-tor. 

 The above is a contemporary haiku. Traditionally, haikus are about nature, but I'm no purest (and frankly you shouldn't be either, but that’s another rant for another time).  If you’ll notice, the haiku is comprised of three lines.  the first line has 5 syllables; the second has 7 syllables.  third has 5 again.  That’s pretty much it.   5.7.5
