So under what excuse did Titus give for his attack on the Kuro. Like did one transpass in Chroma’s land or something?
MOD: Titus’s excuse’s weren’t excuses, to him or to the other Chroma. Really they were just justifiable reasons, but also flat-out lies.
Titus’s reasoning for attacking the Kuros were because they were a threat to their numbers, which during his time were low, and he was evening out the playing field. The Chroma’s Circle didn’t know, however, that he was going after innocents (the weak/sick, children, unhatched eggs) without offering any kind of mercy (via allowing his soldiers to escort them as prisoners to The Veil to regroup with their own kind) and outright slaughtering them until after his return from Kurosia.
The true reasoning behind Titus’s attacks on the Kuros were simple: he wanted power. And Titus knew that if their numbers dwindled, that some of them would become desperate. Desperate enough to exchange knowledge for promises of safety. This is something that Titus didn’t expound on until after he duels with Astraeous, and something that essentially leads to him being quietly removed from the Circle and his wealth confiscated. Since most of it came from his exploits during the war, and the income from being a highly ranked War General.
Titus is just a power-hungry son of a bitch. (Though his mother was super kind; his dad was the bitch.)
