باب التوبة
Hadist 17
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " من تاب قبل أن تطلع الشمس من مغربها تاب الله عليه" ((رواه مسلم)).
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will forgive him". [Muslim].
Hadith 18
وعن أبي عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إن الله عز وجل يقبل توبة العبد ما لم يغرغر" ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن)). '
Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah accepts a slave's repentance as long as the latter is not on his death bed (that is, before the soul of the dying person reaches the throat)". [At-Tirmidhi, who categorised it as Hadith Hasan].

Hadist ini berhubungan dengan ayat 90-91 Surat Yunus terkait tobat Fir'aun
وَجَٰوَزْنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدْرَكَهُ ٱلْغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَتْ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓا۟ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims."
ءَآلْـَٰٔنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?
