North Korea Blames Obama for Outages - Calls Him a "Monkey"
North Korea blamed the United States for the internet outages experienced over the last week. Whether or not those claims are founded is anyone’s guess, but North Korea is convinced.
Yes, it’s photoshopped, in case you were wondering
“Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest…The United States, with its large physical size and oblivious to the shame of playing hide and seek as children with runny noses would, has begun disrupting the Internet operations of the main media outlets of our republic…” spokesman for the National Defence Commission
It’s all our fault- unless it’s theirs
I guess their “fearless leader” Kim Jong Un is a little butthurt over the problems he caused. Not that he’ll ever admit to the hacking of Sony Pictures. It’s a nasty game of cat and mouse, or dog and cat, or something like that. But the rhetoric of North Korea is often hilarious. If they didn’t have nuclear weapons, it would be downright hysterical.
As we previously reported, North Korea’s internet went dark for about 9 hours on Tuesday, completely paralyzing their ability to connect online. As of Saturday, they were still crippled in their 3G mobile and Internet access.
With the now limited released of “The Interview,” a movie about the assassination of Kim Jong Un, they can be expected to continue their diatribe of accusations.
Of course, such “bellicose” rhetoric is not new to the wacky leadership of North Korea. They’re threatened to attack the US and Japan. They’ve threatened to attack South Korea. They live in a world of arrogant threats against nations that have the backing of the United States.
The runny nose and the monkey
Obama threatened retaliation to North Korea, but he didn’t say what that retaliation would be. North Korea has only 4 trunk lines to the internet, so they are a far easier target than the United States. When the “Guardians of Peace,” as they called themselves, hacked Sony, they pulled out all the stops to destroy computer systems at the Motion Picture giant.
Sony ‘s online games at Playstation and X-Box were hacked on Christmas Day, but resumed service on Saturday. Of course it was not before hackers reportedly released 13,000 passwords and credit information for those games and Amazon users. This time, the “Lizard Squad” claimed responsibility for the hacking attack. While there is NO official connection of one hacking to the other, Sony and Microsoft both were involved the release of the movie “The Interview.”
I guess we’ll see who ends up with the “runny nose” here, and which person gets more insulted next: Obama or Kim Jong Un. Who gets the banana?
