TH8 is a superb time to understand how to mass hog. A mostly-hog army can 3 superstar almost any TH8 with reduced army customization needed. This post is to spell it out my standard TH8 hog army as well as how to use it.
Important prerequisite: upgrade your hogs to level 4 first.
There are plenty of somewhat different mass-hog armies at TH8. That one is mine:
32 hogs + 5 max hogs in CC
5 wiz
10 arch, 6 barb, 2 minion
3 heal, 1 poison, 1 cc poison
Both major elements of the attack will be the CC lure + kill, accompanied by the primary hog attack.
Just how to best lure the CC will be base specific. For hard to lure CCs, I love to destroy a number of defenses with 3-6 hogs. When trading that lots of initially it's wise to get some extra value, such as: is it possible to destroy a protection that will screw up the later hog deployment? Is it possible to pretrigger a potential large bomb or destroy a bomb tower? If it's a tidy up attack, is it possible to also cause a skeleton snare with the lure? Generally, if a protection is shown, 3 hogs is a safe amount to destroy it and move forward from, luring the CC. It's very unusual if you ask me for a TH8 CC to have a sizable variety of small soldiers; the most severe case scenario because of this strategy will be a hard to lure CC with all archers.
After the CC has gone out, use an individual archer to draw it for some spot on the bottom that has gone out of the number of other defenses, such as a part hut. Important: if there are non-e, then let that impact which protection(s) you destroy within the lure. Every one of the non-hog soldiers in the typical build above are for killing the CC; however having said that, make an effort to save as much of them as possible for cleanup. Also, when possible, make an effort to save one of your poison spells to destroy foe skeleton traps during the primary hog assault. 10 arch, 6 barb, 2 minion and 5 wiz are intentionally overkill as it pertains to killing the CC. Do not use more than 2 wiz. The minions are for appealing to witches without appealing to their skeletons, or for adding extra DPS to a CC pekka. (When there is a CC pekka, use the same barb drop method that you'd use for killing a dragon, and if you go out of little soldiers, use your BK to container for yoru wiz.)
After the CC is deceased, it's time for the primary attack. However, let's have a step back again from that and discuss planning. You have to know what your location is heading to do your primary attack prior to the attack even begins. You intend to drop your BK among surviving anti-CC systems (ideally several wiz) and the defenses such that it can container; you want to drop your BK where it can follow a near to the advantage foe BK. You want to begin the deployment aiming at defenses that are sidetracked by the BK, so ideally there's a spot where plenty of these will be. You intend to prioritize point defenses with hogs, because splash can be healed through.
Consider hog pathing. Following the hogs damage one protection, where will another closest protection be? You intend to avoid pathing over dual huge bombs; use the CC hogs for your. You intend to avoid exceeding springtime traps, so when there is a likely place for just one, try striking defenses on both edges of it concurrently. You need to do want hogs to converge into a number of groups following the first influx, because organizations are simpler to heal and can remove defenses faster. Consider where these organizations will form and intend to put a heal spell there.
If the foe BK is too much interior to be studied out from your BK, get free gems clash of clans, make an effort to plan the attack so the hogs are near him when they destroy the last protection, in order that they turn and destroy him before he has an opportunity to whittle them down piece by piece.
So: you have destroyed the CC and positioned your BK before several wiz that survived. Advantage defenses and the foe BK have began striking your BK. Do not forget to use your BK capability! Deploy 4-5 hogs against each one of the advantage defenses that are capturing at the BK, and then continue in a group around the bottom, doing 4-5 hogs on each protection until you're out of hogs. Preferably the advantage defenses will all decrease at a comparable time and the hogs will move inwards. You've preplanned where your first a couple of heals should go, and so need not think much about this. Save the last heal for the hogs that are nearing the last cluster of defenses. Heal where in fact the hogs 're going, not where they presently are. If skeleton traps pop-up, use your next poison in it.
As the attack progresses, you will see some junk structures that are no more included in defenses. Drop a wiz or two to care for these, and also to start the cleanup process. At TH8 there is certainly usually the required time for cleanup, nevertheless, you never know if a misstep will leave you with a couple of hogs for cleanup so better to be safe and begin early. Use extra archers to look after part huts etc. at the moment as well.
After an attack, watch the replay to see what it's likely you have done differently. Do anything not go how you expected? Even though you 3 celebrity, there tend to be things you can learn that will improve your own future attacks.
