In light of the cloud of grief that still hangs over Houghton Academy three weeks after Dante Alvaresâ death, the school administration has decided to take a more proactive approach in the schoolâs healing process. In lieu of the group grief counseling sessions that followed immediately after his death, students will be called in individually over the course of the week to speak one-on-one with the schoolâs counselor ( Dr. Lewis ) about their emotional recovery over the past few weeks.
Under the cut are a list of questions that the counselor will ask the students about how theyâve been handling the death over the past month!! Your first task is to answer them in character. Answers can be as short or as long as you think makes sense for your specific character. Please tag your responses with ha.task01. you have until sunday to finish this task.
Please give this post a âlikeâ once youâve read it!
Can you tell me about Danteâs death?
What happened that day? What were you doing?
Where were you when you found out about his death?
Since then, what has happened?
How have things been with you and family and friends?
Have you been through any other difficult times recently prior to or following the loss?

Are you all ready for some Tea Time? Sit tight, boys and girls! This is one scoop you donât wanna miss!
Rumor has it, youâre all fucking screwed. And do you wanna know why?
Because there are people among you who are not who they seem to be. Theyâre not just your friends. Not just your enemies. No, they are spies.Â
A group of try-hard Dante stans have been spying on you ever since your freshmen year, eavesdropping on you, hacking your computer, your phones, your webcams and some have even dug through your trash to learn all about your deepest, darkest secrets to please their lord and savior, Dante âThe Demonâ Alvares.Â
...Isnât it scary to think that you truly canât trust anyone at this school? That anyone could know everything about you? And could expose you whenever they want?
Well, good luck on falling asleep tonight, bitches!
#THEINFERNO,
my god i feel so small
                             nevermind me, nevermind me
             Â
                                  iâll let myself out.
âAjax, wait for me!â The soft spoken brunette was aware that it was a complete waste of time to get Danteâs dog to listen to her, but heaven knows that didnât stop her from trying. Dogs really did take after their owners, after all, and she had found herself missing Danteâs traits. Yes, even the negative ones, like his stubborness and severe lack of impulse control, harmful traits that would later on cause for his life to end abruptly.Â
Almost five months had passed, yet it felt like it was just yesterday when her parents sat her down and told her about the car accident, a defining moment she had played in her head countless of times afterward, almost like a movie. There was a part of her that was still in denial about him being gone. Even though the two of them couldnât be more different if they tried, even though she was destined to be in his shadow for an eternity, he was her twin, her âwombmateâ, and they shared a bond that could never be broken.
Until it did.Â
âAjax, just slow dâ What on earth?â Brown doe eyes grew wide as saucers as she watched two policemen leave her house, one of them flashing her a sad, but sympathetic smile before stepping into their vehicle. A type of smile she recognizes, because itâs how most people âgreetedâ nowadays, ever since her brother died. The brunette stood frozen to her spot as she watched the car drive off, then waited, and waited... she didnât know what she was waiting for, but it felt like time had just stopped.Â
The only thing that manages to snap her out of her trance is the deep voice of her father, demanding her to get inside right this instant, before the neighbours started making assumptions. She has half a mind to ask him what kind of assumptions heâd think they make, but decides against it. âDad, whyââ Diego Alvares gestures for the girl to be quiet, and tells her to sit down with her mother in the living room. She wonders if her father will join them in this conversation, that was reminding her so vividly of that other conversation, but the loud sound of the front door being slammed shut quickly puts an end to the hope that her father would comfort her upon hearing âthe bad newsâ.
âTheyâre re-investigating the accident.â Her motherâs voice is cold, devoid of any emotion, but that wasnât out of the ordinary, because the warm, loving mother act was only ever performed when they were among other people.Â
â....Why?â Silence.
âMadre, porââ
âBecause they suspect that your brother was murdered, Luciana.â
Murdered. Â
âNo...â
âSomeone at the police department was paid to swipe it under the rug. Your father is handling it.âÂ
âNo, no, no, no!â
âControl yourself, Luciana Maria Alvares!â her mother snapped, narrowing her gaze at the young girl. âThis will be all over the news soon, and we need to prepare ourselves for that.â
She couldnât move. She couldnât think. She couldnât breathe.
bite my tongue, bide my time
wearing a warning sign
wait 'til the world is mine
visions I vandalize
cold in my kingdom size
you should see me with a crown.
The now is the time text from D came right after the prom Queen and King were announced. Despite the turn the evening took, Alek made a decision and he was sticking to it. While everyone was busy whispering among themselves about a member of the Nietzsches being crowned prom King and Juliet as prom queen, neither who ran for the titles, and speculating on who was behind the results sabotage, he took the opportunity to go up to the stage and tapped on the mic to get everyoneâs attention after taking it from Leonardâs hands. His next move was supposed to be to humiliate the newly crowned prom King, it was his choice to throw him under the bus to protect one of his arch-nemesis, but neither were getting exposed tonight. Tonight, Alek was doing as he pleased. He was no oneâs lapdog.Â
âCongratulations to both of you,â he started and looked at the crowd to make sure everyone was listening attentively. âThereâs something Iâd like to say and now seems like just the right time to reminisce, wouldnât you say. Months ago, I had an interesting run in Golden Boy at the library. He was writing in a notebook, nothing weird so far, right?â He threw the Windsor clique a pointed look, to one person in particular. âHe was writing about a dear friend of his, still nothing weird. The what he was writing about is where it gets interesting. He had information on aforementioned friend, personal ones they would not want anybody to know and that could only be acquired through spying and stalking. To make matters worse, they werenât the only person targeted in that notebook. Every single junior was. All of our deepest and darkest secrets were spread there, written on black and white. Curiosity got the best of me and I borrowed it, it wasnât my brightest moment I admit, but before I knew it it was swiped right under my nose. I canât help but wonder who got their hands on it afterwards, mhm. Could it be our mysterious but cowardly friend D?âÂ
Alek was playing a dangerous game, calling out and provoking the anonymous person behind the stalker-ish text, but he got what he wanted, plant a seed in his peers mind. âSpeech time over, have a good evening,â his demeanor remained nonchalant the entirety of the little speech, as though he was talking about the weather not something that would intensify the paranoia and distrust of Houghton high-schoolers more.Â
all things he ever lived are left behind
all the fears that ever flickered through his mind
all the sadness that he'd come to own
and it whistles through the ghosts still left behind.....
Friday the 12th. It was the day after Danteâs memorial service at our school. Thoughts of my classmates crying over the loss of their king still lingered in my mind as my mother fixed the crooked tie of my school uniform for me, and made me promise for the umpteenth time that I will never text and drive like that idiot did.
I remembered my classmatesâ speeches, and how I nearly threw up in my mouth after hearing all those lies. They went on and on, talking about what a great guy Dante was, the best, especially that fake little friend group of his, The Windsors. The so-called royalty of Houghton. Personally, I think the Sinister Six or the Houghton Mob is a better fitting nickname for those soulless snakes. I honestly donât know whoâs worse, the Windsors, or the mindless sheep that follow them around.Â
âThou shalt not worship false idols.â Dante Alvares couldnât even save himself from the hellfire, so, what makes them think he can save them?
God, I hate them all so much, but theyâll get whatâs coming to them. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.Â
