Finished the color on this! (original sketch here). I stumbled upon the original Mucha painting (included below) and couldn't resist attempting an homage, which also ended up becoming a sort of gilded age au when I decided to switch up their outfits to the ones in the painting. I simplified the background quite a bit since I lack skill/patience for intricate designwork 🥲 Mucha is one of my favorite artists and his level of detail is always mindblowing!

I was originally gonna go with Hetty's teal dress since it's one of my favorite colors, but it wasn't really meshing with the rest of the palette so I sort of accidentally landed on this red while playing with settings and I ended up loving it! I was having fun playing with dress colors so I've included the teal below and a gold one just bc I wanted to make it look extra extravagant - which is your favorite?

(was meaning to save this for the premiere but I'm never able to wait - so here it is exactly a month away! hope the next season includes many more slow burn scenes to taunt us 💀)
