The reason why I havenāt gotten out of a closet in a nutshell.
Masexuality/Womasexuality Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā and Androsexuality/Gynesexuality
Masexuality/Androsexuality-Sexually attracted to Men and/or Masculinity
Womasexuality/Gynesexuaity-Sexually attracted to Women and/or Femininity
These sexualities were originally formed for non-binary or gender nonconforming people to use in regards to their sexuality because other sexualities (such as homosexuality) are tied in with ones own sex or gender which would not apply to them. I love how we exist in a time where everyone is considered and can seek a label that fits them best.
These sexualities can also apply to cisgender people who donāt feel bisexuality or pansexuality quite fit. Cis folks who yes,are attracted to the opposite gender but also to the features that define them.
A Cis Woman who dates both men and anyone who identifies with āHeā pronouns, people who just live and breathe masculinity despite their assigned sex.
A Cis Man who dates women but also feminine representing people anywhere in the binary.

For fun, intra-community labeling discussion talk time: it's important to me that people know that the prefix gyne- does not denote or have anything to do with vaginas inherently, as many people believe it does. Ā Instead, it comes from the Greek root gyne- meaning female or woman. Ā English unfortunately conflates those meanings by using that prefix in gynecology, but it doesn't inherently relate to any particular reproductive system. Ā I know this because when English tries to use that prefix in other words, the prefix stops meaning "related to the vagina." For instance, in gynecomastia, whose etymology uses gyne- to mean woman and the root mastos to indicate breast tissue. Ā Yes, English, evolving from a cissexist society, uses the prefix gyne- in words to relate to anatomy, but the prefix itself only actually denotes the concept of womanhood. Ā
SO! Ā Stop yelling at people who use the labelĀ āgynesexualā orĀ āgyneromanticā if you donāt know what youāre talking about. Ā And for that matter, stop extrapolating this inaccurate logic to androsexual people too. Ā
IM REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT SKOLIOSEXUALITY AND HOMOSEXUALITY AND ASEXUALITY AND PEOPLE CALL IS GYNEPHILIA???? AS IF ITS NOT A SEXUAL ORIENTATION BUT A KINK AND I HATE IT SO MUCH CHANGE THIS PLEASE
sekret-serkets replied to your post:I've been wondering what is Min's sexuality? Is she just homosexual or is there an asexual component there or what?
thatās called gynesexual
My understanding about the term 'gynesexual' is that it's a broader definition than just "is attracted to women" so they're not really synonymous. It's true nonetheless, though.Ā
