The road to the SIXTH GYM
This is the last place I consider "convenient" by how the game is set up, mostly because Pokemon caught here will still evolve at or around level 40. As a result, I recommend players have at least 4 permanent party members at this point, and pick up the 5th one here. I say reserve a 6th slot for one of the later-game Pokemon, as they're pretty much all useful.
Deerling: Great physical-grass type. 6pt.
Emolga: Not good enough to make the cut. 2pt.
Karrablast: Requires a bit of trading to evolve, but well worth the effort. 8pt.
Foongus: Has potential, but falls short. Better for competition. 2pt.
Joltik: Most powerful electric-type released in this generation. 10pt.
Ferroseed: Better relegated to battling friends than the E4. 7pt.
Klink: Powerful but predictable. 7pt.
Tynamo: A bitch to train. 6pt.
Elgyem: Cookie cutter psychic-type. 3pt.
Litwick: Well worth the investment. 9pt.
