Hai everybody, my name is Gandhi Azmi, Just call me Azmi, I’m From Faculty of Administrative Science, Brawijaya University , I took a project called Swasdeeka National Project at Aiesec LC Bangkok University, Thailand.

This is my first weekly report.

First of all, my experience and journey was started at 26 June 2014. On that day, from jakarta I had flight to Bangkok, Thailand, because they had arranged the pickup schedule on that date from 9 am – 9 pm. Finally, I arrived Bangkok safely and some of OC from LC BU picked me up at Dong Mueang airport.

Then we had preparation camp for 3 days (27- 29 June 2014). On the first day of preparation camp they held welcoming ceremony and global village for all interns. On the second and thirth day, we had some simulation to teach the students. Then at 2 pm on last day they sent us to Angthong province and Ayuthayya province. From Bangkok University to those Province it took more and less 2 hours. And I had ordered to teach in Anghthong Province.

Monday, 30 June 2014 was the first day to me and my friend Ray (intern from Thaiwan) came in Wat Thang Phra School. On the morning, the teachers and the students received me so well, the gave some special greetings like Swadee Khab, Khon Kun Khrab, Etc.

at the second day at Wat Thang Phra School I taught English for Primary School grade 1 and 2. it was little bit hard to understand because I didn’t know their English level. When I had taught first grade about the number 1 – 10 they were so difficult to say because they were might shy and didn’t have brave to say and they might more learned about pronounciation .

at the third day I taught grade 3 and 4. I made vocabulary about day, transportation and ocupation, then we had played game and sung a song together to help them to memories the new vocabularies. On my fourth day, I taught 1 and 2 grade again. I did the similar things like in my second day because I Thought they had same problem, it was the pronounciation..

Friday , 4 Jule 2014 was last day in my first week of teaching the students. Students in Wat Thang Phra School had activity drumband parade, therefore we had no class on this thay. On the evening some hostfams held a party together so I can meet other interns there. So proud of us, we could seen the interns each others.

Hey everyone, sorry for my late report. My laptop did hang sometimes --' My name is Resika Inas B, majoring acounting. This is my weekly report at AIESEC LC FTU HCMC Vietnam, Ichange Project 

25/06/14 I arrived at Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam at 8.30 am. My buddy manager couldn’t pick me up so she sent her friend Sophie instead. Sophie came with her mom. After I took some money from the ATM machine, Sophie found me a taxi to go to my homestay. Then she introduced me to my roommate, a Vietnamese student called Lee  Lee is really good at cooking, knitting, and other girly stuff . She cooked me a lunch and we ate together.

26/06/14 I’m invited to go to Hoa Sen School, to play with some high school students. This is the part of my project. Because I can’t ride a bus yet, my buddy manager Hao picked me up. There, I met the intern from phase 1 (I’m phase 2) and some phase 2 interns. I met Kiki!!! She’s an intern from Yogyakarta, but she will back to Indonesia next week So we played some games in English like Simon Says, Bang Gun, etc.

27/06/14 We have team building today! Thu, another OC picked me up to the place called turtle lake. Because I arrived lil bit early, so I decided to take some walk because the OCs had a meeting in the turtle lake. After that, I got back to turtle lake and met another interns from another project. They divided us into a group. I’m in group one and I met Selli and Christi, another Indonesians  Then we play a game like ‘Running Man’ on team building. They gave us a clue, we must solve it and go to the place in the clue.

28/06/14 I went out with Kiki today! I rode a bus alone from my homestay. The bus is not good looking, but it has an air conditioner and an automatic door and costs 5.000 VND (IDR 2.500) . It took 30 minutes to Ben Tanh Market. We decided to go to the war remnant museum. There, I found many horrible, sad, and cruel pictures about war in Vietnam. I always held  back my tears there :’(

29/06/14 I had a meeting with the OCs and another interns. I started ‘puasa’ today! Hao picked me up and we wnet to Tous Le Jours, a bakery cafe to have a meeting. We discuss about the upcoming event and stuff. After that, Hao dove me to the bus station and I came back home by bus.

30/06/14 Just staying home

01/07/14 I went to Ben Thanh market to meet Christi and others because we would buy some tickets to Cambodia  I met another Indonesian intern, Agin and Sirly. We’ll be going to Cambodia at 3/07/14. It cost about $28 for one person including one night room in a hotel.

02/07/14 I had a meeting with my team today. Me, Fu Ming & Hwee Kuen (both from Malaysia) and Thu (OC) was in charge of Global Village and Workshop at Day 1. We should make a schedule about that one day event. Fu Ming became a manager in this event (like a leader).
