To make Foolish agree to something, you need to either have a deep convo with him about it and why its important and let him both listen and talk his perspective, so it feels like a conversation and he feels like conclusion was natural and almost like he got there himself, so not just throwing facts at him. He just gets swept up and surrenders his judgement in favour of the bit, not really concerned with consequences, but acknowledging the potential for some sorts of shenanigans to occur.
