I remember his words often but those that really cracked my mind where this: “ Ignore them.” I was complaining to him on how many don’t understand his work. I was hooked with energies that distract and interrupt my own practice and work. He said to focus in my practice and teaching and that is what I have done for the past 10 years. The first 6 i was very distracted even though my asana seemed to advance. My mind was still monkey mind. His words IGNORE THEM was one of the wisest advices I ever received from him, amongst many other. Lately, it has been a life saver and a blessing. This is my Guru and his own steps are in front of mine all the time.
