The good people at @guitarlayers kindly let me test drive their amazing software. Guitar Layers can do so much that I feel I’ve barely scratched the surface of it capabilities. It’s perfect for working on arpeggio, pentatonic and other common and exotic scale patterns. I’ve been particularly interested in its chord functionality. In this little example I explored some new ways to play an Amaj9 chord. The chord tones can be manually entered you are able to modify string sets and the fret range for each chord. Setting to a 12 fret area gives some great open string voicings. I played along to my screen recording here to give you an idea of what these chords sound like.
