there’s definitely a massive overlap between furry and fetish communities. i’d say a solid 95% of furries i’ve known were also into furry porn and kink, whether or not they actually drew it themselves. but it’s also not a black and white thing where people fit neatly into categories of “everything is sexual all the time” and “innocent and family friendly”. 

i think the stigma comes from the fact that it’s one of the few hobbies that does intersect with kink. someone could be really into crafting fursuits just for the love of costuming and get no sexual pleasure from wearing them to conventions, but also enjoy wearing them during sexual contexts.

this, i think, causes a perception that there’s no separation of context. being sexual with the hobby sometimes clearly means that it’s a sex hobby, and thus when somebody who draws explicit material draws something clean, there is clearly a sexual motive behind it too.

I would recommend giving us your actual measurements, and specifying ‘relaxed fit’ in the order notes!

Whether this actually relates to any specific tradition that predates the creation of Wicca is unclear. The use of “ancient” to describe certain things in pagan literature is usually either purely arbitrary or highly subjective. There are not too many surviving first-hand accounts of actually-ancient European traditions.
