This guacamole you made yourself is amazing! It only takes a few minutes and is full of flavor. It goes well with tacos, as a dip, or as a side dish.
Ingredients: 3 ripe avocados. 1 small red onion, finely diced. 2 cloves of garlic, minced. 1-2 jalapeo peppers, seeds removed and finely minced. Juice of 2 limes. 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional.
Instructions: Take the pits out of the avocados and cut them in half. Then, scoop the flesh into a bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados until they are the consistency you want smooth or a little chunky. Fry the garlic and jalapeo peppers until they are very small. Add them to the mashed avocados along with the lime juice and chopped cilantro. Add cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper if you like it hot to taste. Mix everything together until it's well blended. If you think it needs more salt, lime juice, or spices, taste it and add them. Put plastic wrap over the guacamole, making sure it touches the top to keep it from turning brown. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors mix. You can dip your favorite foods in the guacamole or serve it with tortilla chips or tacos.
