Hey TuckUnder friends,

I began curating TuckUnder Projects in 2011 and have been very fortunate to receive past Community Arts grant funding from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, minor individual and corporate donations, and a trickle of cash in our donation jar. Within our successful past 2015 season we were very lucky to receive an MRAC Management Consulting Fund grant. This small grant allowed us to work closely with our Tablefort consultant to diagnose how to raise TuckUnder to the next level of organizational structure and artistic programming.

In their recent report, Tablefort cited many positive quantitative and qualitative socio-cultural aspects of the TuckUnder ecosystem that sets it clearly above and apart from many other larger art venues. Our audience has cited TuckUnders unique venue, curatorial prowess, experimental capacity and welcoming atmosphere. We have also just finished a major physical access redo of our main stairway to TuckUnder. The cost of this access reworking is of significant financial cost.  Here is a little Vimeo video of the new steps on a typical November day. Needless to say, we need your generosity in moving forward.

There are multiple reasons for supporting alternative fiduciary-based projects like TuckUnder Projects. Since 2011, TuckUnder has exhibited over 80 artists within more than 50 shows in just four years. Through their promotion at TuckUnder many of the artists have gone on to become visible movers and shakers in the contemporary art scene.
