He fidgets nervously, hands clapsed behind his back. They had decided together not to go crazy for the holidays, but Ford was certain Stanley had gotten him something anyway. So when Stan went out for one of his walks, Ford snuck out to one of the little shops they’d come across when they’d explored the port at first. Now, he stood in front of Stan with the small package clutched behind him, hoping he’d been right to break their agreement.

“A giant spider? Really, Stanley?! What the hell happened?!”

This isn’t about money, dude.

Ford sprawled across his desk in a snoring heap. It had been several hours since he had started pacing the floor of his lab, trying to figure out what to get Stanley as a gift. He hadn’t realized just how tired he was, until he sat down to rest for a moment and promptly passed out. Hopefully someone would wake him up soon, or he’d more than likely stay asleep at his desk for the next three days. 

So much for celebrating the holiday. 

Ohh, that old man was gonna get such a chewing. Mabel could not believe this. She was a  f u l l   g r o w n   a d u l t,  and she still had to label her leftovers in big bright sparkly letters. But apparently that wasn’t enough to keep them uneaten. God, what did she have to do, stick Jeff on top of the box?

He’d probably just eat the food, too.... Damn it.

“Stanley. Pines. How many times do I have to hide your car keys and ground you before you don’t eat my fucking food?”
